Our Story

From a Mountain Village to Travelers Worldwide

Pakistan Tours and Treks began in Hopar Valley, a village in Nagar District surrounded by the glaciers and 7,000m peaks of the Karakoram. Growing up here, we watched travelers arrive from across the world, amazed by the scenery but often unsure where to go, who to trust and how to truly connect with local life.

We started our company to change that. Today we are a local travel agency and tour operator in Gilgit-Baltistan with our own trusted network of drivers, hotels, guest houses, cooks and porters across Hunza, Nagar, Skardu, Gilgit and Chitral.

Because we live here, we know the best season for every valley, the safest roads after a storm, and the families who will welcome you for tea. That local knowledge turns a good trip into an unforgettable one.

we recently went on an 8 day tour to Kashmir with Pakistan Tours and Trek I booked customized tour and honestly it was an incredible experience from start to finish The hotels were clean comfortable and well located, Every destination we visited was breathtaking and the itinerary was perfectly planned to let us enjoy each spot without feeling rushed the guidance throughout the trip was excellent Saghi Ali Bhai who arranged the tour was super helpful and responsive making sure everything ran smoothly and we felt taken care of.👍👍👍 A special shoutout to our driver Fareed Bhai what a gem calm professional and always smiling his driving was smooth and safe even on the winding mountain roads and he added a warm friendly vibe to the whole journey🙏Overall it was a perfect mix of adventure relaxation and stunning scenery, If you're thinking about exploring Kashmir I’d definitely highly recommend Pakistan Tours and Trek✅

Although I have hiked to different places in the north of Pakistan, my hike towards Haamdar meadows was unique in many ways. Firstly, it required crossing Hopper glacier, which is the fastest moving glacier. Secondly, the diverse terrain that followed the glacier offered spectacular view of the mountains. Thirdly, the camping site with a view of the Golden peak and white glacier made the entire place surreal. I would like to express my gratitude to Mr Haibat, my former research participant (a graduate from the University of Karachi), who not only told me about this place, but also accompanied me along with Pakitan Tours and Trek's team. I would also like to thank Mr Yaseen, the man who led the entire team, and, of course, all the supporting members that included the cook, Mr Musharraf, the local guides and porters, Mr Riaz, Mr Sardar, and others, without whose motivation and support the adventure wouldn't have materialized. Everything, from hiking to camping to the meals served, was outstanding. Last but not the least, I would also like to thank Mr Sagi for showing me the photos of Haamadar meadows as after watching those photos I could not resist the temptation of camping there. Honestly speaking, I had not even heard the name of Haamdar meadows eariler, but after visiting this place I feel so fortunate to have stayed there for camping. All those nature lovers, who want to explore less trodden paths must give it a try and I would strongly recommend that you explore such hidden gems with Pakistan Tours and Trek's team, as they have local team members who provide useful information about the local flora and fauna. Listening to their stories based on their trekking experience is an icing on the cake.

Pakistan Tours and Trek's company did a great job for me. They tried their best to bring me to the places that I want to go. Itinerary was well planned according to my request and according to their recommendations. They gave me a surprise in a natural, simple and cosy accommodation that out of my expectation too. Time management was quite good, not too rush and not too free. Overall I gave this company a five star.
